When there are multiple devices within a site, most customers like to assign each device a unique name for easy identification. To do this, you need to navigate to the devices page within App.
1. When on the Devices page, select the AP you want to change the name of
2. Now select the settings section of the AP
3. Now on the settings page, select Device Name
4. Set the device's new name and press save:
5. You can then back out to the Devices page to confirm the changes have been applied
6. The device will give a 'Getting Ready' status while the change is applied. This will take a minute or two before turning Connected and ready to use
