How to set a WiFi name/password on UniFi

This article provides step-by-step instructions on how to set up a simple WiFi network.

Step 1: Select the site and go to Settings

1. In your Dashboard, go to the appropriate site by using the drop-down in the top-left corner
2. Once selected, click the Settings cog icon in the bottom-left
3. Go to WiFi and select Create new

Step 2: Creating a Basic Wireless Network

1. Enter the desired WiFi name/SSID
2. Click apply, this will then apply the changes immediately

A basic network has now been configured, allowing you to connect wireless devices to your UniFi APs.
